the yearning for something that'll bring me away from here.
they think it isn't real.
but i know better, or do i?
was everything just an illusion, something i conjured out from nowhere?
i want to go to the beach, look out at the sea and lose myself in it.

being stepped upon because he knows i can be taken advantage of.
i faked a smile so he won't see.
but it's time to put it down and get some sleep at night.
i'm not an object to be toyed with.
