okay, so i'm finally blogging again.
met up with my favourite guys last wednesday!

don't you think dangshi looks soooo much like his handphone chain? WAHAHA. i couldn't resist taking a photo of both of them together. :D


and this, is zhihao my "hubby". but he's divorced me. *sniffles*
he's damn damn cute i swear!

we went to play counterstrike before heading to tamp to watch stardust! :D
aiyaaa... i think that movie was of average standard, actually.
don't know what all that big hooha was about.
oh well, *shrugs*.

friday then saw ujin, morven and me going to watch MUAY THAI CHAIYA.
finally, after longing to watch it a gazillion years ago.
thank goodness we caught it before it ends on 20/21 nov.
it was fab. more fab than stardust. :D
the twists and turns in the plot made it a fantastic movie.
and after the movie, because we were so damn bored, we followed morven to his friend's birthday party at boat quay to drink.

anyway, there was this fucked up thing about the pay for the motorshow which kinda screwed up my week.
it was my secondary school chinese teacher who asked me to go help out at her husband's booth, and so... well, i agreed.
fyi, they are a new company and... "we are taking a risk investing $20k in this show. so you guys have to make $200/hour/person for us so we can draw even, okay?"
fuck sia. getting paid $10/hour and she expects us to make $200/hour.
:S
okay, well...
so as expected, we didn't make the required amount.
and guess what?
she wanted to cut our pay down to $7.40/hour.
like wtf, right?
so i told her that. and okay, so she finally raised the pay to $8/hour.
but still, wtf, right?
how can just because her company made a loss then she want to cut our pay.
i was supposed to earn $280 from that show, in the end cut until $220. :S
would have frigging pursued the matter, but my dad persuaded me not to cuz... "she's your teacher afterall."
still, don't you think it's so unfair?
just because she was in a position of authority, and i trusted and respected her...
she could turn around and go back on her words, and i should do nothing.
then just yesterday, i smsed her to ask if she could just give lina (who worked for one session only), the full $10/hour, because she needed the money to service her bike and all that.
and her reply was "we all have our expenses, and you've all accepted the rate i proposed, so..."
FUCKING CB CAN.
im regretting oh-so-badly agreeing to $8/hour.
the little seed of going to MOM to lodge a complaint has planted itself in my mind.
thank goodness i kept all her smses, just in case.
i hate being caught in such dilemmas.
like... you don't wanna see their business go bust, and yet her attitude just pisses you off so badly.
she's wrong in both her principles and her morals. ought to be talking to us nicely and asking for our indulgence and yet she's arguing indefensibly.
tell me what i should do.
suggestions, anyone?
