hope - it's such an amazing thing, don't you agree?
i figure if it weren't for hope, i'd be slipping down some abyss of darkness.
of course, i'm not hoping so fervently i'm close to delusional. not yet, anyway.
still, it's nice to dream.
to imagine how things could be, although it's pretty obvious the "could be" will never happen in real life.
even drifting between dreamland and consciousness, it has become apparent that all the hope will come to naught.
and yet, despite my better sense urging me to stop dreaming and hoping... i can't.
let me live a little longer in this perfect make-believe world.
let me savor the sweet taste of dreams coming true... before reality sets in and i have to give it all up.
