just got home some time ago after supper with THE BATCH.
it was love.
watching xiang ying 2007 made me reminisce about the past.
watching our juniors on stage made me miss being on it too.
seeing the lights shine on them, hearing the applause from the crowd...
and yet, i was just part of the audience. it just seemed so surreal.
it was exciting being in the audience, watching xiang ying for the first time.. and yet, there was this intense feeling of being left out.
i miss all the rehearsals together, the late nights, the rushing of props.
i miss all the hard work we put in for xiang ying.
and how, when the last curtain fell, know that all the effort we put in did not go to waste.
when we all stood up to sing the drama song together with those on stage, i could feel the hot tears of yearning in my guts, threatening to spill over.

TAN YUYANG. XIANG YING 2009. ON US, OK? :D
