i really have NOOO idea what it is with girls and armpit hair.
ok, i'm a girl myself, which is why i don't understand the rationale behind girls wearing sleeveless tops and not shaving their armpit hair.
although they may delude themselves with the thought like how, if they don't raise their arms, people will not see that bunch of stray hair.
that is sooo untrue.
from what i've observed, even moving their arms back and forth will result in a little stray hair peeping out.
and some are worse. they don't even bother making a conscious effort to hide their unshaved armpit bush.
OMG.
raising their arms like nobody's business and all that.
seeing that unsightly stray bush poking out from their underarms just gives me goosebumps.
hello, if not for image purposes, it's for hygiene.
please, for goodness sake, shave your armpits.
if it's just the smell, it's still... (not very) bearable.
but SIGHT plus smell, it's totally CANNOT MAKE IT.
most of these girls with unshaved armpit hair look reasonably pleasant.
however, once one catches sight of that black mass under their arms, *poof!* there goes their image.

school's starting tomorrow.
thinking back, this 2week break/holiday, is such a laugh.
holiday indeed.
people who are not mass commers will so not understand the pressure piled on us throughout this break.
i've been procrastinating, pushing back the work i've got to do, trying to enjoy this hols.

have decided that i really have to stop lazing around and start working hard.
only have about 1year plus of poly life left, and my gpa has been hovering around 3.sth.
that's like.. bad. TOTALLY HORRENDOUS.
will never reach my dream gpa of 3.5 if i continue on with this slacker attitude of mine.
less emphasis on cca, more on studies.

just came back from np strings concert.
GREAT JOB, VAL!
peggy and i totally went crazy after the intermission, and were cheering like nuts.
screaming things like "val you're so sexaye!", "valzie, wo men shi ni de tou hao fans!"and all that crap.
after which we started playing air guitars, cello and pretending to conduct.
gosh. it's enough that we are always the noisiest in cinemas, but now, in CONCERT HALLS as well.
urgh.
oh. sheereen was totally HORRENDOUS, i swear.
as you know, concert halls are usually really quiet.
that WOMAN, being the burpy bimbo that she is... let out a really HUGE burp halfway through the performance.
you're lucky it was too dark for people to see and recognise you la!

and after the performance, peggy, went to the toilet and, while peeing, took a pic of her thigh with my phone.
according to her, i bruised her once again on her thigh with a kick during the student leadership seminar.

ah yes.. on our way home, sheereen sat next to this guy who not only stank, but had really bad habits too!

seriously, people should learn to do such things in private.

the other day, when chiou and i were in the cab to work at clinic, we saw this teenage boy digging his nose while walking across the singapore river bridge.

do they think that the image of their fingers moving so very actively in their nostrils, then withdrawing them with brown substance before flicking the substance away, is a very pretty one?

today was pretty fruitful, i must say.
at least i started recording the radio commercial for advertising, and am halfway through tv script.

and i promised sheereen that i'll blog about her experience with the ez-link top up machine.
this took place about 2 days ago, i think.. on the day we went shopping:
she had to like.. top up her ez-link card.
so used the machine.
and yep. so she tried inserting her card THRICE, before she finally got it right.
1st try: attempted inserting it into the cash slot and kept trying till i enlightened her. like.. WOW HOW CLEVER. =P
2nd try: tried inserting it forcefully into the nets card slot.
3rd try: YAY! she finally found the ez-link card slot!

today was really packed, and i'm dead beat now!
woke at 5am to go down to school for the student leaders' seminar.
it was supposed to last till 5pm, but the entire bunch of us, brian, ben, pegs, weiric and i left early -- right after lunch.
HAHA.
we, pegs and i, went kinda crazy halfway thro and started a mass orgy with the soft toys we got -- spongebob, patrick, and banana in pajamas.
hella funny and we drew lotsa attention from the other tables.
dang, think we spoilt npkfc's name.
HAHA.
so after leaving the seminar, we went to the clubhouse to nap for like.. about an hour, and i had to rush down to attica too for work!
it was a reeeaaaalllyyyy good experience!
although i was hella nervous at the start, cuz was worrying that i'd trip and fall off the stairs/or slide and fall on the "runway", it went relatively well.
my face, however, was aching by the end of the entire event!
have never ever felt the muscles on my face tick and experienced my smile wavering soooo intensely before.
o.O
by the end of my second walk, my face felt frozen into a permanent grin. URGH.
still, who's complaining? 70bucks for walking on stage for less than 30minutes.
HAHA.

the planning of this camp is already way rush, food unordered and rooms not booked. why? because people didn't reply so we dont know who's going and who's not.

their newsletter remotely resembled the TODAY paper, so i suppose almost all of those who took it from me thought it was a newspaper!
after they got a closer look, however, i think they realised they got cheated.
i even heard a woman, seconds after she took the newsletter from me, go "TOPSHOT!? DAMN!" (topshot is the name of the newsletter, btw)
was grinning like a fool at that.
and and! people are suuuccchhh trend followers!
it's like... when someone rejects taking the newsletter from me, others behind him usually do the same.
only when someone breaks the chain and gets a copy from me, will the rush for the newsletter start.

but it's okay!
since they helped clear all the flyers we were supposed to give out, it's fine. :D

well well, i must say that although i was daaammnnn languid and tired while helping out, it was truly a great n invaluable experience!
