respect.
loads of people think that as long as they're in the position of authority, they'd, undoubtedly, be respected.
that's a whole lot of bull.
don't talk about respect if you can't command it.
how can one be a leader if he is not even able to earn the respect of his peers?
what a leader needs to have is the willingness to sacrifice.
no, it's not just the willingness to lead, but to SACRIFICE as well.
a leader has got to learn to control himself before controlling others.
so hey, control your urge to laze around.
don't talk about leading or respect if you don't prove your worthiness.
admit to your flaws, rather than getting all defensive.
or... wait. perhaps you're just too caught up in your own ego to actually realise that you have flaws.
or maybe... you aren't secure enough to admit that you aren't as perfect as you think you are.
at least i'm willing to admit that i'm harsh, nasty, bitter and bitchy.
are you willing to face up to your NATO-ness?
people can tell whether one is able to command respect for a leader.
they aren't blind.
they can see it when you're being an absolute pig and all.
do you realise that all the freshies in our cca have no respect for you?
none at all.
now, what are you gonna do about that?
(somehow, i suspect your answer will be: "continue complaining about them and order them around.")
your ego is so inflated it's close to exploding.
