it just hit me that whoever who said everyone is given a second chance, is full of shit.
it's human nature to remember the faults, and forget all the good that one has done.
in fact, once a mistake is made, that incident would be deeply imprinted in everyone's mind, with all the other nice/good things you've done thrown aside.
it's when you've erred, that everyone will remember you.
as it's then when people feel disappointed/sad/angry, and these negative feelings are more inerasable than the happy ones.

yeah. you learn who your friends are, who the ones who really believe in you are.
it's then when you know who knows you well enough to see through what you've done to the real intentions. or know if you're misunderstood.
someone said that "memory is a complicated thing, relative to truth, but not its twin".
when looking back, you see things more objectively, and maybe then, you'll be able to tell if you misunderstood someone.
there's a crack in everything, that's how light gets in.
i really hope that cracks start appearing in bad memories fast.
maybe then, when light appears, it'll be friends again.
but then again, with the amount of faith you guys have in me, i think that that is a very faraway hope.

don't you think the chinese saying "一失足成千古恨" is said by someone who understands human nature more than others who spout "second chances" kinda bull?
