yes, time changes, and so do people.
what matters is that you are still able to find yourself in all the changes.
i've changed, that's for sure.
but not for the better.
as of today, i shall start the quest of finding back the quanrung from sec4.
the quanrung whom i loved.
=)
i remember this poem by shakespeare from a speech of mine i made in sec one.
about how time passes in the blink of an eye.
it may seem so callous but if we learn how to deal with it, hey, it may not be as bad as it seems.
"Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end;
Each changing place with that which goes before,...
And yet to times in hope my verse shall stand,
Praising thy worth, despite his cruel hand."

i'm sure many of us hope to maintain that one shred of innocence we had when we were young.
but many go, "how to? naivete won't survive in this world."
sure, i do say such a thing too.
however, i've come to realise that naivete and innocence are two different things.
naivete is gullibility, whereas innocence is just the purity of the mind.
so... why not?
i used to love this verse because it sounds nice.
now, i've found a deeper meaning to it, and love it more for the beauty of what it stands for.
"To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower.
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour."

we're all shaped by events that have happened to us.
and we grow.
for now, just remember, in the process of growing, don't lose your true self.

thanks, william. =)
