naivete can't survive in this world.
it's time to wake up, look out of the window of the sheltered life u've been leading, and realise that the world is not as wholesome as you think it is.
being optimistic and being unrealistic are two different things.
being optimistic is to understand that the world is imperfect, but yet you try to make the best and think the best of it.
being unrealistic is thinking that the world is perfect and living in a dream of your make-believe flawless world.
we're all humans and have our flaws, you can't expect us to change and be the same as you are. whatever happened to individuality?
to you, we may seem cold-hearted and uncaring, but to us, you are waayy too soft-hearted, and that's how u get hurt.
u've been through enough, don't you think?
u should have learnt not to let things affect you as much already, don't you think?
you blame us for not hanging around with you cuz of someone who tags along.
but when we try to mix around with the other person with a plastered smile on our face, we'll be accused as being hypocritical.
now, when we don't mix with her, you blame us for not being good friends.
it's a freaking lose-lose situation, don't you see?
yes, sometimes i do wish i can be as soft-hearted as you, it'd be a good thing to be so nice for a change.
however, being so soft-hearted may let u end up getting toyed with.
some of us learn from falls fast, you should do that too.
rather than getting so hurt when little things don't go the way you want, and people don't behave in the way you want to.
it's been 17 years on earth already.. more than enough time for us to have learnt, no?

P.S.
the above is just my point of view. this is how i feel, you may think otherwise though. but as i said, what we've experienced shapes who we are today. you can't blame us for being like that, it's just that we've learnt about people faster than you
