I'M BACK ONLINE.
although it's only 3days, but it seems like sucha LONG LONG time!
i've been working full days and it's a hell of a killer!
when i woke up today my feet and TOES were like numb!?
gosh.
why is that so, you may ask?
well, it's not that it was very busy at the restaurant, there are many times when it's a gazillion times worse.
it's just that i kept getting placed in the same station as this particular full-timer, lets call her J alright, who is one hell of a lazy bum.
and i'm not saying this without evidence, mind you.

J throws all the jobs to us part-timers so she is very slack while APPEARING busy.
EVIDENCE:
1) even before the shift starts, before roll call even, when she caught a glimpse of me (i just reached the restaurant) immediately she asked me to go over and help her clear the setting from a table while she disappeared. (that's her job cuz she was supposed to be doing the morning shift)
2) she takes a hell lot of time just to cash out a customer - 10-15min! like wtf, others only take 5min, tops.
3) when i'm in the same station as her, many a times i'm the only one left in the whole station when the whole station is practically filled! with only 3-4 tables unoccupied. yes, i can manage but fuck, it's tiring you know, especially when your feet are on the verge of losing all sensation
4) she told me "alexis, you take care of setting the tables k? i'll take care of the service", and less than 10min upon saying that, she disappeared into thin air again.
there's loads more actually, but i shan't bore you with the nitty gritty details. you get the idea though, don't you?

chiou huey thinks i'm too harsh on J, and that she's quite a nice person.
yes, she's relatively nice OUTSIDE work, at work, however, is a different matter entirely.
if you can't stand up for yourself, no one's gonna pity you if you get stepped on, cuz you're a pushover.
so no, don't give me that face when i'm ranting about her, it's just that i can tell when someone is downright lazy, or when they really do need help doing stuff.
chiou huey sweetie, you're too soft-hearted. if you can't take care of yourself, you'll be bullied by every tom, dick and harry you meet.
okay, i'm done raging about J.

and chalet's this coming monday! i can't wait.
but i certainly wish that everyone who said that they'd be going will turn up, since some unexpected events have happened.
