hahahahah today was like so... eventful.
met my dearest pegs ah ma at 2.32p.m. today to go WASH CARS!

us taking a lil pic as remembrance, before we get all dirty. HAHA. that's the mediacorp capital radio 95.8 shirt we're wearing.

the feminine version of PHUA CHU KANG! and i look like a total fashion disaster. all the bright colours clashing. URGH.

we were like the only 2 so nutsy about taking pics. so when the person from SPC was walking around taking photos, she'd be sure to ask us to pose. HAHAHA. that's the prob with being with a camwhore like PEGGY. ;)

that's us with the dj in charge of the upper east coast road spc charity car wash. HAHA. he refused to stand next to me cuz im taller than him.. and made pegs stand in the middle so she seems... DWARFED.

after this whole thing, pegs and i went to tamp mall... and we suddenly had an impulse to cut our hair... so.... TADA! our new hairstyles!

after that we went to get ice cream from MACS. and settled down outside KFC to eat. haha
then.. we saw this SNAIL. EEEEKKKKSSS!
and guess what we found out?! snails like to eat mcflurry too!

it was actually stationary at first. till i put my mcflurry cup at the ledge. then it started a fast climb towards it! GO SNAIL GO!
and dammit. i just realised that i cant find the pic i took of the snail ON the side of the cup. sighh.. and pegs was being soooo EVIL. she was swinging the cup with the snail towards me. and made me squeal like a freaking mad woman. RA! *bites*

alright. end of post. poor peggy is still on her way home. HAHA.

I AM SO AGITATED!
chaegyung is quite an asshole! sometimes she's so dumb and so naive i can't help but want to slap her. at the start of the whole show, her naivete seemed cute, and at times endearing. but as the drama progresses, it makes me wonder how someone can be so.... ARGH. and she's just so absorbed in her own problems at times. doesn't think about how others are suffering too! *smacks*

and shin. shin is.. well.. a pig! he's so self-centred and such. when he was crazy over hyorin, he didn't care that he was hurting CG, now that he's had a change of heart, he's so cold to hyorin. maybe CG and him are really made for each other.. (though i'd like to see yul and CG together cuz yul will be HAPPY. )

as for yul and hyorin. my heart goes out to them! i mean.. they are just in love with CG and shin respectively.
how can hyorin forget shin if.. as she says, every minute of his movements is broadcasted on tv? parading around with CG.
and poor poor yul! CG only goes to him when she's down. like that part when shin got reprimanded "do you think you have the competency to be king?" and wanted to be alone, CG refused to listen to yul ("but you'll get hurt by shin again") and went after him. of course, after she REALLY got hurt, she runs back to yul for comfort again.
i mean.. i don't think she did wrong running after shin, just spare some thought for YUL for goodness sake! he was her good friend!
and when hyorin attempted suicide and landed in hospital, she had to go visit her as well.
yes, she may think that it was shin who caused hyorin to do what she did, and so they had the "responsibility" to go visit her.
but has she looked at things from hyorin's point of view?
all hyorin wants is for shin to visit her, NOT CG. hell, if CG visits her it is just like CG is showing off that she was the one who got shin now.
seE! that's why i say CG's so dumb and naive sometimes i wanna slap her.
RA!

but it does seem that yul will be better off without CG. he always looks so sad and heartbroken when he sees her. *pats*

LOOK AT POOR HYORIN'S FACE! when shin finally voiced his change of heart.
sigh..

okay.. not really crazy over GOONG itself, though it's a great show.
funny with some touching parts too.

but of course, i'm crazier over YUL! omg! he's the cutest guy ever!!
it's so sad that it's not him and chae-gyung together eventually. =(

the way he looks at chae-gyung breaks my heart. that wistful and longing look.

i just love the way he behaves la! so endearing..
AND HIS SMILE! OMG! *melts*

hmm. anyway my last day at work's supposed to be tomorrow, cuz i just resigned today...
however, since i dislike the people at the office so much, i decided to pangseh them tomorrow and call in sick instead.
SO THERE!
humph.

anyway, on a lighter note.. i watched JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE with chiouhueybimbo peggy val sel melody and sheereen just now. haha. it's a definite MUST WATCH! you'll laugh your guts out. chiouhuey and peggy were guffawing soooo loudly! okay. i was as well. but anyway.. yes, go catch it alright! you'll love it! hahahah. i shant post any spoilers here... but watch out for HOTness in the movie! ;)

i just watched singapore idol 2 finals.
before i say anything, please do allow me to drill into you that whatever i mention here, it's just my two cents worth. don't come after me attempting to murder me if you aren't happy with what i'm saying, ya? =)
hmm. i had loads to comment here while watching, not that i'm here, i've kinda forgotten almost everything i wanted to say. shows how unmemorable it was.

okay. this is the first time i've caught any episode of singapore idol 2. so, yeah.. i've no prior prejudice against any one of the finalists.
hady is definitely the better singer while jonathan has more star appeal, more charm.
of course, if this is really purely what it should be - a singing competition - hady will definitely win, however, this is, as selwyn says, more like "singapore marketable pop star", so.. i'm guessing that jonathan will win.

well, for the first round, the songs from the spectaculars, which they sang again.. i think it was merely mediocre. not impressive at all. and hell, i nearly fell asleep. =.=
haha. oh OH. and it's so obvious that they are advertising for 7-11.. what do you call that? erhm... AH! branded entertainment. the 7-11 big gulp cup was lying strategically beside ken lim while he was giving ALL his comments. *snorts*

and for the 2nd round (this will be the songs they chose from the given list k, not with jon's you give me wings).. hady was more wow. although dick commented on him going slightly off pitch... but it's okay, to my extremely untrained ears, he sounded great. as for jonathan... well.. he was great too, by his standards.

okay 3rd round - the original song created specially for them - "you give me wings". once again, hady reigned. though jonathan was not bad too. but still, his vocals definitely loses to hady's. i think that hady could get more out of the song, though jonathan claims that the song "inspired him" and yada yada.

which brings me to why i think he will win. cuz he has better pr skills. he had to insert such subtle (okay, not-so-subtle) "i'm a sincere guy" comments when ever he speaks. after florence's comment on his last song, he had to get all "oh i chose a local song because i wanted to be able to PROUDLY sing one right here", and after his you gave me wings it was "yes, i can totally relate to it, it inspires me greatly" kinda comment. enough already, we get your point, okay? hady on the other hand, can't really talk at all.. it seemed as though he was wrecking his brains for something to say whenever it comes to a point when it's necessary for him to speak. though he got extremely hyper at the end of the whole thing, smiling like a goofus and jumping around.
look at this combination! one talks to much, and the other can't talk at all. quite lamentable.

but you can tell that the judges and maybe even the emcees think that jon will/should win.
no matter what, jon's name is always mentioned first. and while the judges gave comments, they always give "you are a good singer" kinda comments to hady, and "you have star quality" kinda comments to jon. and that jacintha person made a rather major slip-up "you're the idol" or something. can't really remember. but anyway, these understated hints made up to alot.

well, results are out tomorrow.. we shall see! =)

yes, i know i promised the chalet pics like eons ago.. well.. anyway, here they are.

DAY 1 AT NSRCC:

there you go. our first bbq (in case you didn't know... we had 2 bbq cuz there was TOO much food.) and chiouhuey ruining the food. thank goodness there were others - proer chefs - there.

see! chiouhuey's smirking secretively cuz she poisoned our food. and val's having a tummy ache (see her hand at her stomach) but doesn't know that it's actually caused by the bimbo she's taking photo with!

those who didn't get enough sausages to eat (*coughiracoughme*) you know who's the culprit! haha ;) though im sure she actually offered them to us since she's sucha sweet girl. LALALA

DAY 2 AT NSRCC:

mel val airell pegs and me were singing, while kaiwen ira jiahao sel brian and imsorryifimissedoutanyoneelse went bowling.
for some reason though, one of our notorious camwhores, dear ah ma did not appear in the singing pics. *gasp*
and our 2nd bbq.....

airell and ira're being nice and starting up the fire! while the rest of us are.......

yes you got it.. mahjong. ;)

after the fire started and such..

yeah! brian our (lazy) scout cooking the food for us! tasted much better than chiouhuey's amateur cooking. HAHAH

savouring my lovely marshmallows. man.. i think the marshmallows i heated up were totally heavenly. it's.. friable on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. see! even peggy my dear ah ma's closing her eyes dreaming abt eating my marshmallows. just that she's old and in danger of getting diabetes.. so... uh-uh.

okay. no more pics. im tired of posting already. haha it was indian poker and truth/dare after bbq.

for the past 3 days, i had like.. a hundred plus people viewing my profile.
and the thing is... they are all from PHILIPPINES, INDONESIA and MALAYSIA.
yes, i hear you go wtf.
my sentiments exactly.
this is nuts you know.
and there are like at least 4-5 messages a day from these people.
what the hell is wrong!!!
why are there so many of them from THESE COUNTRIES!?
and i don't see any sporeans viewing my profile you know, that's the biggest, dumbest problem.
i'm so freaked out.

HI GUYS.
i'm blogging at work.. well.. it's actually lunch break now... 5 minutes more before i gotta get my ass back to calling the company's clients.
man, this $8/hr is REALLY tiring.
it's not tiring in the physical sense, but rather in the mental sense.
it's so boring! calling and calling to get information from their clients.
and many of them won't want to reveal much.
it's only my first 3hours at work and i'm tired of it already.
i'd rather take waitressing at humble house over this anytime! =((
but i don't think it'd be very good to ask them how do i quit on my 1st day of work, right?
*snorts*
and it's only a 2-3week assignment.
*cross my fingers and hope to endure it till the end*
okay 2 more minutes more..
i'd better go.
