you meet all sorts of people when u go to the gym on an extremely crowded day.
well, at least that's what i think.
of course, it was an embarrassing gym-ing day for me today since i was quite off-form thanks to my flu and cough.
was wheezing and puffing halfway through.
and i couldn even go on the treadmill.
HOW PATHETIC.
but anyway... that's not the point.
there was this oldish man at the gym. well, not exactly THAT old.. say 40+ - 50+ i guess?
and he was lifting weights. pretty normal, isn't it?
no! he was lifting weights and panting extremely loudly! the most interesting part was that he was panting like someone who was having sex.
and his panting drew a few onlookers, me included. at least he didn shame himself cuz he had pretty impressive arm muscles! *gasp and drool* *cough*
yes, and then there was this other guy with OKAYYYY arm muscles. so he was doing this waist exercise.
it just happened that i was using the machine beside his.. so i caught him red handed!
so first, he adjusted the weights to this jaw dropping hugee stack.
then, he sat on the seat. and after a furtive glance around, quickly removed the pin and replaced it at half the HUGE stack. *disappointed*
and THEN, the trainer walked past him while he was using that machine and went "HEY. use the muscles at the waist la. why u use your hands to pull that down? like that might as well i help you pull it down"
LOL. i was practically laughing my ass off.
oh.. and to sum it up.. other interesting characters i saw..
a menghow-behave-alike, an EXTREMELY thin but strong guy (I REALLY DO MEAN EXTREMELY THIN. i think his wrist was only like half to 3/4 of mine!), and this trying-to-act-pro guy.

sorry for sounding incoherent today. it's the medicine. haha! =)
