sometimes i really wonder.
people like to say that outer beauty is not important.
i think they are just bluffing themselves. trying to make themselves not seem as superficial.
but they should just stop lying to others, and worse, to themselves.
because if that was really the case, why is it so that pretty people can get away with practically everything?
what's more, they still manage to maintain a (hypocritical) sweet, innocent shell, whereas the not-as-pretty people get maligned. even if they are actually the victims.
well, i do agree that the world is an unfair place -- the reason why this sorta thing is happening.
but shouldn't we stop being so superficial, only looking at the surface, and start thinking more?
isn't inner beauty the most important thing essentially?
if you're a backstabbing bitch, it shouldn't matter that you are beautiful, hot, sexy and whatnot.
however, in society today, nobody really cares.
so what happens to these beautiful people who are ugly underneath?
well, we just wait for retribution to hit them.. and sometimes, retribution misses..
sad, isn't it? i feel sad that our society is made up of such superficial people.
it is quite terrible when it comes to the state that a once-optimistic person starts becoming a cynic.

ah well, i think i should go and try to study for the marketing quiz tmr.
though i suspect i won't really start till after dinner tonight.
